Meet Erykah

Erykah Weems is a Senior Research Associate at the Justice + Joy National Collaborative (J+J) and a creative consultant. She has dedicated her work to advancing racial and gender justice within the education and wellness sector by curating inclusive events. 

Erykah holds a Master of Education in Equity and Social Justice from San Francisco State University. In her work, she implements various methodologies, including storytelling, community organizing, and data analysis, to inform policy and systems change. Erykah has built a network of researchers, practitioners, and advocates, collaborating with them toward achieving our collective mission of advancing social justice.

Providing workshops and training sessions to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, helping organizations create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Existing programs and initiatives will be assessed to identify improvement areas and ensure they align with community-based research and the goals of equitable access to education, community, and health.
